Sustainability

Made with Intention

On-Demand Production

We make garments to order. Wherever possible, nothing is printed until it's bought, which means no unsold stock, no warehouse overstock, and no unnecessary waste sitting in landfill. Every order you place is one less garment made speculatively.

Material Choices

Where our range allows, we choose natural fibres like cotton over synthetic, petrochemical-based fabrics such as polyester. Natural fibres break down at the end of a garment's life, whereas synthetics largely don't.

Get Your Gear's Worth: Wear It Well

Research on sustainable wardrobes suggests a t-shirt needs to be worn around 45 times before its environmental footprint is offset by use. The most sustainable garment is the one you actually wear. Buy less, wear it more, repair it if you can, and get the value out of every piece.

Giving Back

As a social enterprise, Streets Ahead Kung Fu actively supports First Nations organisations and environmental and social causes through donations made across the year.

Doing Better as We Grow

We're a small, independent business, and we don't have this perfect. As we grow, we'll keep looking for better materials, better packaging, and better practices, and we'll update this page as we do.
